I did something I’ve never done before
I had sex on the first date.
This is not normally something I do; but, I justify it with the fact that I’ve been talking to this woman all week, and we’ve had a pretty strong connection thus far. We were also both open and honest with each other about what we expect from this (for those curious, we did agree on a second date) and we both made sure to respect each other’s boundaries.
She’s a really awesome woman; she’s funny, cute, interesting, charming, affectionate, and sweet. And if I did not feel a connection with her already, I wouldn’t have slept with her.
But I did, so we did. We also both made it clear that we’re both not looking for booty calls and actually want to feel things out, take things slowly before entering into something exclusive. But given our interactions thus far, I’d say we’re off to a pretty good start.
How do you politely tell a friend that trying to fix a relationship by getting married and having kids with the partner that you cheated on is a terrible strategy and will not help your relationship at all? At the age of 20 no less.

Why the fuck anyone would want to vote for a fear-mongering, blatantly racist party that is determined to exclude those who are not like them all in the name of making the country “great again” is beyond me.
I’ve seen nothing about the party that inspires confidence in the future of our country should they retain hold of Congress and, god forbid, the Presidency. Especially since their nominee’s apparent first move sounds like it will be incredibly similar to one of Hitler’s.
If you’re of age to vote this November, please; think not only of the impact that the vote might have on yourself, but also of the entire country. Of your brothers, sisters, and your fellow countrymen. We didn’t take this many steps forward in rights for all and the advancement of humanity just to take even more steps backward to a platform reminiscent of the goddamn 50′s.
C’mon man. That’s not okay. Why do those thoughts keep creeping in? Stop that.
